What is the Oemji Toolbar?
This advanced tool bar brings together multiple functions into one easy to use and access tool bar. You can perform Internet searches, block popup advertisements, and stop receiving Spam emails.
What is the Searchbar?
Type the topic or search words of your search into the searchbar, click search, and get quick and accurate search results.
What is SpamExtract?
SpamExtract is Spam filtering software that identifies and prevents Spam. You may add a Spam folder to your email account where email messages considered Spam by SpamExtract will be stored. Emails marked as "NOT" Spam may be added to a "whitelist."
What is the SpamExtract button?
By clicking the SpamExtract button on the task bar you will have three options:
- Preferences
- Email scanning options—Select when you would like the program to scan your email for Spam.
- Yahoo email users can choose to have SpamExtract check your bulk folder after the scanning the inbox.
- Update
By clicking on the Update button, SpamExtract will check for software updates.
- About
The About button informs you what version you currently have installed on your computer and the date that it was created.
What is the Clean Mail button?
The Clean Mail button will scan your e-mail for Spam and move those e-mails into your Spam Folder.
What is the Spam button?
The Spam button will move messages you select (by placing a checkmark next to them) into your Spam folder which will train SpamExtract to recognize similar emails as Spam. The Spam button will only be visible when you are in your e-mail inbox.
What is the Not Spam button?
(While in the Spam folder)
The Not Spam button will move messages you select (by placing a checkmark next to them) as not Spam into your Inbox folder, and train Oemji to recognize similar emails as not Spam.
What is the Oemji Pop-up Blocker?
Oemji Pop-up Blocker blocks unsolicited pop-up advertisements from appearing on your computer while you browse the Internet. Oemji Pop-up Blocker saves you time by providing you with an annoyance free web surfing experience.
How to switch User Interface (UI) languages
Oemji provides multiple language support for its user interface and the default language will be English. If you want, you can change UI language to other supported languages easily as below:
- Clicking “options…”, you can find a list of UI language in the window of options and select your desired UI language.
- If your desired UI language same as your localized language, just click OK/Apply to save the change.
- IIf your desired UI language not same as your localized language, the Oemji will indicate your OS language setting do not support your selected language, you should change the Unicode language in the Control Panel.
- Click the “Regional and Language Options” in the Control Panel
- Select the “Advance” and choose your desired language in the non-unicode language list and
choose the code page same as your desired language
- Click OK or Apply and the Window OS prompt you to install this language or restart OS
- After installing this language , restart OS
- Choose your Oemji UI language.
How to do search in IE Address Box
Input the site name or your search key word into your IE address box, and click the IE address bar arrow or press “Enter” key.
How do I uninstall Oemji Toolbar?
- Click the Start button and select Control Panel.
- Double Click Add/Remove Programs.
- In the Add or Remove Program window, Highlight Oemji Toolbar and click Change/Remove.
- On the Please don't uninstall Oemji Toolbar! Window, click Next
- On the Oemji options window select the last radio button. (Uninstall Oemji)
- For Select Uninstall Method Window, select Automatic, and click Next.
- On Perform Uninstall Window click Finish
- Please leave feedback to let us know how we can improve your experience with our products, enter you email address, and then click Send Feedback.
- If Remove Shared Component window opens click Yes to All.
- Finally, reboot your computer when prompted.
You have now successfully Uninstalled Oemji Toolbar.
Notice: For all Windows 95, 98, and ME users that installed the Oemji Toolbar prior to January 21, 2005, we highly recommend over-installing the updated version of the Oemji Toolbar.
